Freshman Eastman Scholarship Form | Department of Mathematics

Incoming first-year Mathematics and CAS Data Science majors who have graduated from a Nebraska high school are invited to apply for the Dean H. and Floreen G. Eastman Scholarship, which can award around $20,000 over a four-year period. The department awards several of these prestigious scholarships to incoming first-year students with Mathematics or CAS Data Science declared as a major. This scholarship awards up to $5,000 for the first year at UNL, and students can re-apply every year for up to a total of four years. After completing an application for admission to NEBRASKA, all incoming first-year Mathematics and CAS Data Science majors are encouraged to apply by clicking the link below. The Priority Deadline for Applications for 2027-28 is Friday, January 8, 2027 at 5 pm! Applications for incoming first-year students will be open until March 1, 2027.
