Juliann Geraci was recognized as a top poster presenter at the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Workshops of the 2026 Joint Mathematics Meetings in January. She presented "Boolean Matrix Rank via Monomial Ideals."
She is a teaching assistant in the Department of Mathematics and a PhD student advised by Alexandra Seceleanu.
The AWM creates a community in which women and girls can thrive in their mathematical endeavors and promotes equitable opportunity and gender-inclusivity across the mathematical sciences.
