Abigail Price is a third-year doctoral student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. They study algebraic combinatorics and are advised by Alexander Yong. They particularly enjoy thinking about problems arising from representation theory that can be solved with the help of combinatorial objects. At the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, they have been involved with the Illinois Mathematics Lab, the Illinois Combinatorics Lab, and the Merit Mentoring and Professional Network. Outside of math, they enjoy reading sci-fi and fantasy, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and learning piano.
