Carolyn Mayer is a Senior Member of Technical Staff in the Discrete Math & Optimization department at Sandia National Laboratories. She joined the labs as a postdoctoral appointee in 2020. Before joining Sandia, Carolyn was a postdoc at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She earned her Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2018, where she specialized in coding theory, working with Dr. Christine Kelley. Carolyn first attended NCUWM in 2013, as an undergraduate from Bowdoin College.
