Paula Egging is a data scientist at Bryan Health in Lincoln, NE. An NCUWM participant herself in 2014 and 2015, Paula earned her PhD from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2022, where she studied PDEs and fluid interaction models. Recognizing the unique meaningfulness of working with healthcare data, she has been with Bryan's data analytics team since 2022. Focused on some of the system’s most complex challenges, Paula’s main work is in supporting the development and evaluation of machine learning models throughout the organization. Additionally, she supports many of the advanced analytics projects, from statistics and hypothesis testing to building dashboards and everything in between. When not working, Paula enjoys baking, eating what she bakes, and bicycling around Lincoln.
