Rutuja Kshiragar is a member of the research staff at Fujitsu Research of America, Inc. She previously conducted postdoctoral research at Zapata Computing, Inc. and completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics at Virginia Tech under the guidance of Dr. Gretchen Matthews. As a doctoral student, she focused on graph-based and algebraic-geometry codes for error correction and erasure recovery. Her current research interests lie at the intersection of quantum error correction, quantum algorithms, and quantum hardware, with the goal of advancing early fault-tolerant quantum computers through tools drawn from quantum computing, coding theory, and machine learning.
