Undergraduate Math Jobs

Applications for the Spring 2025 semester opened on Wednesday, November 20. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all positions for the Spring 2025 semester have been filled. We may be able to work somewhat flexibly with your schedule. You can go ahead and indicate that you are available for meeting schedules for which you need to arrive a little late or leave a little early (up to 15 minutes) a few days a week. There is a place at the end of the form to include additional comments, and you should elaborate on any such restrictions there. Note that "T" represents Tuesday and "R" represents Thursday.

You have indicated that you are interested in being an Upper Division Learning Assistant. Please indicate all meeting schedules that would fit your schedule. Note that "T" represents Tuesday and "R" represents Thursday.

Guidelines regarding minimum or preferred qualifications for applicants:

  1. Grader:
    • Minimum: B+ in given course and 3.0 or better GPA
    • Preferred: A- or better in given course and 3.5 or better GPA
  2. MRC Counselor:
    • Preferred: A- or better in Math 107 and 3.5 or better GPA
  3. Learning Assistant:
    • Preferred: one 300-level math course and 3.5 or better GPA
  4. Teaching Assistant:
    • Preferred: Math 310 or 325 with an A- or better, along with some past experience teaching or serving as a Learning Assistant
  5. Upper Division Learning Assistant:
    • Preferred: A- or better in given course, at least one 400-level math course, and possibly some past experience teaching or serving as a Learning Assistant
