Guidelines regarding minimum or preferred qualifications for applicants:
- Grader:
- Minimum: B+ in given course and 3.0 or better GPA
- Preferred: A- or better in given course and 3.5 or better GPA
- MRC Counselor:
- Preferred: A- or better in Math 107 and 3.5 or better GPA
- Learning Assistant:
- Preferred: one 300-level math course and 3.5 or better GPA OR experience in a prior learning assistant-supported course and strong recommendation from the instructor (please indicate this experience, and your instructor, in the comment box above).
- Teaching Assistant:
- Preferred: Math 310 or 325 with an A- or better, along with some past experience teaching or serving as a Learning Assistant
- Upper Division Learning Assistant:
- Preferred: A- or better in given course, at least one 400-level math course, and possibly some past experience teaching or serving as a Learning Assistant
