Three faculty members in the Department of Mathematics were recognized for their achievements during the 2025-2026 academic year at an awards celebration in August.
Allan Donsig received the Aaron Douglas Professorship, which recognizes full-professor faculty who demonstrate sustained and extraordinary levels of teaching excellence and national visibility for instructional activities and/or practice.
Kristen Amman received the Harold and Esther Edgerton Junior Faculty Award, which honors an outstanding junior faculty member who has demonstrated creative research, extraordinary teaching abilities, and academic promise.
Jack Jeffries received the CAS Distinguished Teaching Award, which honors consistently excellent teaching.
